Got a new telescope, which is pretty cool. It’s a wider angle lens so I have a learning curve ahead of me.


Testing different exposure lengths on a single frame, no post editing on these
There’s not a huge difference in the exposures but I noticed quite a bit of smoothing on the longer ones which helps with the satellite streaks

The satellite streaks drive me nuts but they got fainter as my exposure ran.





If you have never listened to Radiolab I encourage it. They do a very good job of being entertaining while informing you of things. It’s also very well researched and produced.

Nasa is posting pictures of the Moon from the Artemis II Mission lunar fly by.

They’re incredible. They make mine look a little dim, though I think they’re cheating by being 234,000 Miles (roughly) closer.

This feels appropriate given the Artemis II Mission right now.
